Mini Macaroni And Cheese Bites

MACARONI EN KAAS / MAC-CHEESE

1 pak gekapte bacon1 groot ui1k kersie tamaties4 eiers500gr griekse jogurt1½ k gerasperde kaas2t basillie kruid of tiemie1 blik sweetcorn (opsioneel)Sout en growwe swartpeper na smaakKook die macaroni soos aangedui op pak tot amper sag.Spoel af in vergietes.Braai die ui en bacon sag/gaar maar nie uitgedroog.Sny die kersietamaties in wielietjies.Voeg nou die bacon, uie, tamaties, 1k kaas, geurmiddels by die macaroni saam in ‘n oondvaste bak.Klits die 4 eiers, voeg dit by die griekse jogurt.Gooi die jogurt en eiermengsel oor die macaroni en strooi dan die orige kaas bo-oor.

Bestanddele:500g macaroni,

 60ml botter,

1 gekap ui,2.5ml gekap knoffel,2.5ml droe gemeng kruie,1 rooi soetrissie ontpit en in blokkies,250g sampioene in skywe,75ml koekmeel,

 750ml warm melk,

 sout, peper,60ml swart olywe gekap,

 375ml gerasper goudaMetode:

Kook macaroni sag in soutwater en dreineer. Braai uie, knoffel en kruie sag in botter. Voeg meel by. Roer melk stadig by tot n dik sous vorm. Geur met sout en peper. Roer olywe en helfte kaas by. Roer pasta by. Skep in gesmeer oondbak. Strooi res kaas oor. Bak 25min by 180. Porsies 6. MACARONI & KAAS MET BABA TAMATIE & OLYWE

Genoeg vir: 4

Bereidingstyd: 10 minute

Gaarmaaktyd: 20 minute

60 ml botter

60 ml meel

500 ml melk

200 g gerasperde cheddar

400 g macaroni of penne, gaar en gedreineer

1 bakkie baba-tamaties

’n hand vol ontpitte olywe

1 ui, gesny

1 Verhit die botter in ’n kastrol tot gesmelt. Roer die meel oor matige hitte by tot dit begin skuim. Haal van die plaat af en laat effens afkoel.

2 Voeg die melk bietjies-bietjies by en klits tot glad. Hou so aan tot al die melk bygevoeg is.

3 Sit die sous terug op die plaat en laat dit kook terwyl jy heeltyd met ’n houtlepel roer, tot dit verdik het. Roer die helfte van die kaas

by en geur na smaak.

4 Gooi die sous oor die gaar pasta en roer dit deur. Skep dit in ’n oondvaste bak en pak die tamaties, olywe, ui en orige kaas bo-op.

Rooster vir 5-10 minute onder die element, tot mooi goudbruin.

SMOKED GOUDA MAC & CHEESE

4 cups dried macaroni

4 tablespoons butter

¼ cup all-purpose flour

2 ½ cups milk (or half milk half cream)

2 teaspoons dried mustard

125gr smoked Gouda cheese (shredded)

250 gr sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

sliced green onions

Step 1: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook macaroni according to package directions.

Step 2:

While the noodles are cooking, in a large deep pan melt the butter and then

sprinkle in the flour. Whisk together over medium heat. Be careful not to burn

the mixture. Cook for about 2 minutes while whisking. Pour in the milk, a little

at a time and whisk until smooth each time. Cook the mixture while whisking

until it has become very thick. Add the smoked Gouda and cheddar cheese and stir

until melted. Stir in mustard, salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Drain the macaroni noodles. In a large bowl mix the noodles with the cheese sauce. Top with green onions.
